Air is everywhere!
Inside, outside and are constantly connected to each other. The HVAC industry mainly focuses on the indoor air and air quality. How nice is it, if you work in the HVAC, you can also contribute to clean outdoor air so that there is less air pollution inside too? Simply by planting air-purifying trees in a unique way of planting in cooperation with our partner ViridiAir! So you're doing something positive for the climate and health 💪
By helping with a project located along the highway ourselves, our Valorists also feel what nature, sustainability and exhaust gas filtering are. We plant young trees because they grow faster. We also protect the strips for a few years to prevent the leaves from being eaten by deer, for example (see video).
To make our air-purifying trees grow, extra hands are needed! Especially because we plant in filter strips (not traditional forest areas). That's pretty accurate work.
No forest but filter lanes!
The wind must be able to rage strongly between the strips.
This creates friction along the leaves and, for example, particulate matter sticks.
The leaf structure and the length of time that the tree remains green also contribute to the entire filter process (important for the absorption of NOx, ammonia, ozone and CO2, among others).
So that's what we're selecting for. A sustainable filter principle and 100% natural.
